High production demands at a busy manufacturing site meant internal temperatures regularly rose to uncomfortable levels, particularly during the summer months. On the production line, this created challenges for both staff and machinery efficiency. We designed, supplied, and installed a large-scale ventilation and cooling system to bring temperatures under control and create a safer, more productive working environment.

Challenge
The facility needed a reliable solution to address consistently high temperatures on its production line. Sustained heat in manufacturing environments can reduce worker comfort, increase accident risk, and impact output. Given the scale of the operation and the continuous demand, VEKA required a system that could deliver effective cooling while remaining energy-efficient and compliant with workplace regulations.

Solution
We followed our established process to deliver a comprehensive installation tailored to the site’s requirements:

1. Consultation & Assessment: We conducted a site survey to measure airflow, temperature build-up, and heat gain across the production area.

2. Proposal: A system was designed to ensure consistent airflow, heat extraction, and energy-efficient cooling for the large-scale facility.

3. Installation & Commissioning: Our engineers installed 5 roof extractor units to remove excess heat and improve air circulation, supported by 8 Breezair evaporative coolers to maintain comfortable temperatures and fresh air replacement. The system was fully balanced and tested for optimal performance across the production line.

Result
Since installation, temperatures on the production line have been significantly reduced, improving comfort for staff and supporting a more stable operating environment. The combination of roof extractors and evaporative cooling has provided VEKA with a scalable, efficient, and effective solution that enhances both productivity and safety.
