A busy engineering facility was struggling with high internal temperatures, affecting both staff comfort and productivity. Having already completed two successful projects for this client, our team was once again trusted to design, supply, and install an expanded cooling and ventilation system to meet the demands of their growing operation.

Challenge
Like many industrial facilities, Gripple’s engineering site faced challenges from rising summer temperatures. Sustained heat build-up not only reduced comfort for staff but also threatened to impact efficiency and day-to-day output. As this was the third project we had delivered for the client, the solution needed to integrate seamlessly with their existing systems while delivering greater cooling capacity.

Solution
Using our proven approach, we delivered a tailored system that strengthened the site’s existing setup:

1. Consultation & Assessment: We revisited the facility to assess how the existing ventilation performed, and identified areas where additional capacity was required.

2. Proposal: A solution was developed to expand and complement the current system while ensuring compliance with workplace regulations and energy efficiency targets.

3. Installation & Commissioning: Our engineers installed 2 roof extractor units to boost heat removal alongside the existing units, as well as 5 Breezair evaporative coolers to deliver fresh air replacement and efficient temperature control.

Result
Internal temperatures have been significantly reduced, creating a more comfortable and productive environment across the engineering facility. The expanded system worked seamlessly with the existing setup, ensuring balanced airflow and reliable cooling. This project marked the third successful installation for Gripple, reflecting their continued trust in our expertise and long-term partnership.
